Preserve voting rights in Arkansas

We oppose any effort by the Arkansas Legislature to impose additional requirements on Arkansans when exercising their constitutional right to vote.

Why is this important?

Some elected Arkansas officials wish to introduce legislation requiring voters to present certain official forms of identification, which many senior and economically-challenged citizens do not possess. This effort is similar to that recently enacted in Pennsylvania (and found unconstitutional in our neighboring Texas).

Our legislature should not impose additional requirements on Arkansans exercising their constitutional right to vote.
