To the President & Congress: Please put a just & fair system of commuting sentences of low-level drug defendants (many of whom are innocent) into place starting with the removal of Pardons Attorney Ronald Rodgers.
Why is this important?
Every President, according to the Constitution, has a responsibility to commute sentences of worthy inmates. President Bush & President Obama have the worst records but it's not their faults. Ronald Rogers has withheld worthy petitions, and withheld supporting documents. He should be replaced by someone who is just, fair, compassionate & competent.
