Please stand firm on the main fiscal cliff promises voters approved in this year's election: Clinton-era tax rates on income above $250,000, a renewal of tax cuts for all income below $250,000, and no cuts on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Why is this important?
I am a staunch Democratic voter who is upset about your current offer to Speaker Boehner that includes cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. I depend on every penny of Social Security for my living expenses.
