President Obama Make SCOTUS Recess Appointment!
With the Republicans in Congress stating that the President should NOT make an appointment to the SCOTUS while Associate Justice Scalia's body isn't even cold, we need to ask the President to make an immediate recess appointment to replace Justice Scalia. The President not only has the Constitutional obligation to appoint members of the SCOTUS, he has the Article Two right to appoint a member while the Congress is in recess, which they are through February 19, 2016.
Why is this important?
The Republicans have consistently thwarted the President's agenda and have publically stated that they will not consider ANY nominee that the President should send to fill the current vacancy on the SCOTUS. We cannot have a vacancy on the SCOTUS for over 12 months.
