President Trump Committed Perjury While Taking the Oath of Office

As detailed in Three Steps To Unify The Country (http://econintersect.com/pages/opinion/opinion.php?post=202001190038), Donald J. Trump asked Russia, a foreign foe, to interfere in the 2016 election. Thus, he betrayed our best national interests for his own personal benefit.

If they recognize that President Trump committed perjury at the very moment he took his oath of office, US Senators will be freer to validate the House of Representatives indictment and remove him from office.

Why is this important?

US Senators will be better equipped to resist the avalanche of vile words expected to fall out of Donald Trump's lips. Indeed, to stiffen their resolve they need to remember the wise rhyme, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”

Once the spell of Donald Trump’s words is broken, we can earnestly engage in the urgent task of meeting the social and economic needs of our nation.

Only united we can MEND THE FED (http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/a-patriotic-petition-1?source=c.em&r_by=2016207); only united can we DEFUSE THE BOMB of the next Stock Market crash (http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/the-jubilee-solution).

Why Are People NOT Signing This Petition?

From the point of view of Republicans, the answer is evident: They would inescapably be compelled to remove President Trump.

It has just occurred to me why Democrats do not seem to be interested in the issue either. They do not want to remember that President Clinton also committed perjury.

But this is not a way to run a country. Republicans have to be held to the fire of truth. And so do Democrats. They simply have to point out that President Clinton apologized to the country for lying under oath. President Trump, instead, is telling the country that he is ENTITLED TO LIE -- no matter the damage done to the country.
