Write your North Carolina State Senate members and tell them to oppose Senate Bill 27--Public School Protection, which would allow armed volunteers or school employees to patrol the halls of our public and charter schools, as "safety marshalls" . This is a wrong and dangerouos approach to school safety.
Why is this important?
Don't allow non-law enforcement personnel to carry guns and serve as "safety marshalls" in our public schools.
