Federal prosecutors in Munich are currently reviewing a request to issue an arrest warrant for Gina Haspel because of her work - in person -
overseeing and supporting torture during the George W Bush administration.
Why is this important?
Deadline is probably early April. If the Senate confirms Gina Haspel, then we as a country are condoning torture. I have three cousins who I know died at the hands of the Nazis, and a very dear cousin who barely escaped. As citizens, our responsibility is to convince our representatives to vote against racism and torture.
