This conflict of interest must be eliminated to allow our elected officials to work on the public's interest and not on their own. The temptation is too big and as humans they need the help of the law to stay focus on their believes as true public servants.
Why is this important?
Pass a law to prohibit public officials from ever working or receiving any kind of compensation or contract direct or indirect from Lobbying firms after their service as public officials.
