"Prohibition of election campaign ads on television"

Amend U.S. Constitution: (a) Repeal any existing First Amendment freedom of speech protection for election campaign ads on television, radio, and billboards; and (b) prohibit exactly those ads.

Why is this important?

The most effective first step towards reducing the overwhelming influence of money in elections is to prohibit election campaign ads from television, radio, and large, stationary signs such as billboards. Two-thirds of all campaign funds produce TV ads, targeting a "captive" audience. Eliminating those ads will greatly reduce the power of big money, e.g., corporate money.
