Proposed 28th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution:

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply
equally to the citizens of the United States."

Why is this important?

Requires members of Congress, both in the Senate and the House, to be subject to the same laws they pass for the rest of the citizens of the United States and vice versa. We have all been affected by the current laws which do not treat members of Congress the same as the average citizen.
