If a US President opts to use other than Camp David for his/her retreats, then that President is responsible for paying the costs of travel and of required Secret Service persons' salaries, rooms, meals, and other activities (golf, etc.). The US taxpayer SHOULD NOT have to pay for this, ESPECIALLY if/when the President himself is benefitting financially from such an arrangement!!!
Why is this important?
I'm so tired of Trump & the GOP members of Congress giving lip-service to their "concerns" about the "high cost of Obamacare," which they are trying to "improve" by cutting the funds that have allowed millions of poor and elderly to (finally) have had access to affordable care! How about the high costs of Trump's frequent golf vacations at OUR EXPENSE?!!
