The legal age of a CCP (Concealed Carry Permit) Holders be lowered to nineteen so more people can defend and learn about the benefits and hazards of owning and utilizing a firearm.
A mental evaluation be required to those applying for a CCP (Concealed Carry Permit) or a mental evaluation be required before the purchase of a firearm every time without a CCP.
Those that purchase or own a safe be allowed a tax deduction for there effort to combat misuse and unlawful possession of a firearm to those not permitted to acquire a firearm. The deduction would be based upon size, security and accessibility.

Why is this important?
It has come to the attention of us as a nation that the recent act of gun crimes that have spurred in the recent five years have become more brutal and dangerous due to the simplicity it has been to acquire these respectable power of weaponry. With all the fear and panic of what people view to be the guns fault for the violence, they have left out the biggest factors in the majority of these travesties. Mental illness, lack of knowledge for the amount of damage a firearm can produce, and accessibility to legally owned guns for illegal activity.
