Prosecute officials of the NRA
(the following petition is also awaiting enough signatures to be posted to the White House where it can be seen by a broad audience. If you support it, please also sign it at http://wh.gov/m9YP )
We petition the President of the United States to direct the Attorney General to prosecute officials of the National Rifle Association (NRA) under the RICO Act for providing material support to members of designated foreign terrorist organizations (18 U.S.C. s 2339b) by engaging in a pattern of continuing criminal activity intended to obstruct the enforcement of relevant laws by U.S. law enforcement authorities; and for providing on multiple occasions since 1977 services and support to individuals engaged in violent criminal offenses across the country, including gambling, murder, kidnapping, extortion, arson, robbery, bribery, drug trafficking, money laundering and terrorism. Through lobbying, funding, and the provision of legal services, NRA has supported the arming of Mexican and other foreign and domestic terrorist organizations.

Why is this important?
Prosecute the NRA under the RICO racketeering law for its support to domestic criminal activities and foreign and domestic terrorism.
