Protect Bristol Bay
I stand opposed to the Bristol Bay pebble mine if it is shown to have an adverse impact on water quality and the fish stocks and jobs that depend on it.
Why is this important?
Bristol Bay is one of our most pristine national treasures. Its ecosystem supports fishing and tourism job from Alaska to Washington.
But a new environmental impact report suggests that a new mine in the area might put all of this at risk, threatening wildlife and jobs.
Join me in asking to block the mine if further research confirms that it will harm the ecosystem, kill wildlife, and destroy jobs.
