Stop the state of Florida from forcing children of military personnel from their custodial home, into person(s) homes designated by the deployed party. Florida Statute 61.13002
Why is this important?
My daughter Olivia could be placed, against her will, for extended uninterrupted periods into homes with people she has very little contact with. I don't believe it would create stability nor a positive sense of self worth for a child to go from one home to the next. Statistically children with one or more homes has a higher probability of dropping out of school, criminal activity, behavioral issues & teenage pregnancy. Do we really feel that adding additional homes is in the Best Interest of the Child?
