We, the undersigned organizations and citizens of Maine, request that the Judiciary Committee of the State of Maine legislature fully support LD 236 "An Act To Protect the Privacy of Citizens from Domestic Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Use". We are deeply concerned about the adverse impact drones can have on our civil liberties. It is absolutely necessary that any drone surveillance of private citizens should only be done after obtaining a legal warrant by law enforcement agencies.
