Protect college students' right to vote

Write to the U.S. Dept. of Justice Civil Rt.s Div. Voting Section urging it to countermand the new 2011 state laws designed to deny college students, African Americans and Hispanic Americans the right to vote, which is protected by the Voting Rights Act, Civil Rights Act, 14th Amendment (equal protection clause), 15th Amendment (right to vote), and case law. See the LWV President's Nov. 14, 2011 statement to Congress and the Dec. 2011 NY Times article re: the problems.

Why is this important?

State governments passed many laws in 2011 designed to suppress the voting rights of college students, African Americans and Hispanic Americans.
