Tell Our Representatives to Protect Internet Neutrality

For a long time, the idea that the Internet was a level playing field has been the law of the online land, where money could not buy you preferential treatment or special access. But now giant telecommunications companies want to eliminate this principle of equality to add to their profits—and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is going along with them. On May 15 the FCC is releasing a proposal that would allow Internet providers to create a pay-to-play fast lane for websites relegating everyone else to the slow lane. But it's not too late to stop this. Please sign this petition and tell your representatives to stop the FCC from this folly.

Why is this important?

Many small business owners rely on internet searches to grow their business'. This proposal creates an uneven playing field and will negatively impact small business.
