A highly qualified, armed law enforcement officer must be funded and stationed in each and every public school (K-12) during all operating hours for each day children are present in the school building.
Why is this important?
I am a mother of four children and a Georgia public school teacher. I cannot sit idly as armed gunmen enter our public schools and kill innocent, unarmed students and public school staff. The safety of our children is grossly overestimated. Schools are wide open to this sort of violence and we must address the problem TODAY.
