Protect our children gun safety act
Create federal legislation mandating a gun education safety class followed by passing a written and gun use test before being allowed to purchase a fire arm of any type.
To protect human life, especially the lives of children, it should be at least as difficult to obtain a gun as it is to obtain a drivers license.
Why is this important?
Gun violence in the U.S. is an epidemic and public health risk.
Gun related death has surpassed motor vehicle accidents as the leading cause of childhood death.
We must use all necessary means to prevent further loss of life from this epidemic of gun violence.
