There have been allegations of many rapes in the US Military. Some may have been false, but ALL must be investigated. I am petitioning the government to create an Ombudsman position specifically for these allegations so any and all military personnel can and MUST contact to ensure that these allegations will be completely investigated and if warranted, turned over to a military court!
Why is this important?
News stories about women in the military being raped by other military personnel and not receiving the redress they seek. Not only is this happening in war zones but at military academies and training facilities, as well. This must be addressed!
