I appeal to you to protect The Constitution of The United States and Bill of Rights as you are sworn to do, specifically the First, Second and Fourth Amendments as well as all others.
I urge you to NOT support any bills or amendments that would further infringe upon Constitutional Rights without the proper Amendment process as set forth in Article 5.
Why is this important?
Our Constitutional Rights and personal liberties are being infringed upon with the enactment of laws such as The Patriot Act and National Defense Authorization Act as well as new restrictive laws.
I stand with Benjamin Franklin when he stated, “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
