Protect Safety and Professionalism in Wisconsin
Professional and occupational licensing in Wisconsin must be protected from out-of-state corporate influences. Groups like the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL) and Americans for Prosperity cannot continue to push through legislation that undermines our state licensure system, lowers quality standards, and places employees, employers, and consumers at risk.
Why is this important?
Landscape architects, CNAs, child care providers, physical therapists, cosmetologists, and sign language interpreters are among some of the professions threatened by recent licensing legislation driven by Americans for Prosperity and WILL. Wisconsin consumers rely upon high-quality products and services provided by trained professionals, and Wisconsin workers rely upon the high level of safety standards that are produced from this training. Now is the time to stand up to corporate interests and demand the highest level of professionalism and protection for Wisconsin residents.
