Why is this important?
Defeat S.B. 267 and keep the right of citizens to recall elected officials for bad/illegal behavior.
One example: If an elected mayor breaks laws on the last day of his term and has won re-election, he cannot be charged for crimes from his previous term. If this passes, it gives elected officials a blank slate to violate the conditions of the law right before their term ends. Strong cause to re-elect no one.
