Protect the right to vote

North Carolina legislators are poised to take away the right to vote for many citizens just because they are without state identification. These are people in nursing homes, seniors who do not drive, students without state ID, and many other people living in rural and or urban areas who are without state identification. Don't let our state legislators suppress the vote.

Why is this important?

Governor Bev Perdue vetoed the voter ID law passed by the Republican legislators in 2011. We know they are trying to overturn her veto in 2012. Don't let in happen. Protect every citizen's constitutional right to vote.
