Protect Wisconsin's Wetlands

Corporate interests should not be placed above the interests of Wisconsin residents. Stop Assembly Bill 547 before Wisconsin's wetlands are harmed beyond repair.

Why is this important?

Assembly Bill 547 would make it easier for companies to build on Wisconsin's wetlands and to discharge contaminated materials into wetlands. If we allow construction on these wetland environments without going through the proper environmental procedures, we risk the contamination of our waterways, the destruction of important ecosystems, and the reversal of flood protection that many communities depend upon. This legislation must be stopped before irreversible harm is done to Wisconsin's environment.
