Protecting our children from assault weapons

In the eventuality that Congress does not enact common sense assault rifle regulations, we petition Congress to require children to stay inside school all day, where they will be protected by an armed guard. We insist that they never play outside, or to walk to and from school unless they are accompanied by an armed adult. This compromise will allow assault rifle owners to keep their weapons no matter what.

Why is this important?

I own two pre-schools and have two little granddaughters the age of the Sandy Hook victims. I am outraged at the NRA's proposal to put armed guards in every school instead of common sense gun regulation. This petition is an attempt to take their position to the ultimate level.
