With more than 8500 people per year being killed by unlicensed drivers we should be taking preventive measures. We've done much to punish offenders but have done little or nothing to prevent it from happening in the first place. I propose that a valid drivers license be shown each and every time you purchase fuel for any motor vehicle.
Why is this important?
Approx 8,600 people per year are killed in crashes with unlicensed drivers. The government passes down punishment but does nothing to prevent it.
