Texas has had no protection for LGBT in the work place. The state has made it clear that you can be discriminated against for your personal life whether in the work place, when buying a home, etc. Help us to fight this gross lack of justice. Push the Texas government to protect not just some of its residents, but all of them.
Why is this important?
I was fired two days after revealing my sexual orientation to my employer. The reasons for my termination weren't given to me during the time of my termination and it has lead me to believe that it is due to me admitting my sexual orientation as well as reporting the use of derogatory terms in the work place.
