Put In Safeguards Before the Keystone Pipeline Is Approved.

We believe that there should be restrictions agreed to and put in place before any approval process.
1. Insurance in perpetuity against a spill so no taxpayer liability
2. Leakage monitoring required along entire length of pipeline
3. Restrictions on sale of any products produced from pipeline exclusively to the US and Canada, including export of any current domestically produced/consumed oil or oil products

Why is this important?

Although my only involvement in this issue is as a consumer and taxpayer, I believe there should be restrictions agreed to and put in place before any approval process.
