Put lights at Stanley Quarter Skatepark
Lights at the Skatepark would encourage more people to skate the park and bring the Skatepark more attention. It would provide a safe place for extreme athletes to enjoy the Skatepark toward the end of the day . Stanley Quarter Skatepark is amazing and enjoyed by all but if we were able to install a few lights at the park to stay on until a reasonable time I think it would be great for the CT skate scene. Heaven Skatepark in Hartford has lights as well as Wethersfield Skatepark and Naugatuck Skatepark. Stanley Quarter is a safe haven for skateboarders , roller bladers, bmxers and kids learning to own their sport and put in the time to practice it. This would be the icing on the cake for everyone that enjoys this gnarly and unique park.
Why is this important?
This is important for the extreme athletes that enjoy this park and the future generations that will make this place their safe place to practice their skills and be active. Lights would bring more people to the park and overall give us more time to enjoy this park after it gets dark
