Leaders from education, government, business, and religion need to come together to engage in a dialogue that leads to strengthening the development of children aged 0-8 in our state.
Why is this important?
The early years of a child's development are crucial for the child and, by extension, all of us. What parent hasn't wrestled with trying to find safe, quality, convenient care for his or her child? What teacher hasn't wrestled with young students who have not had high-quality care? In some cases, the cost is higher than the cost of college tuition.
