Quality Care for all of Illinois' Children
All children, regardless of economic upbringing, deserve quality child care.
For a lot of these kids, CCAP funding, is the difference between being left in an educational child care setting. Or being left with a relative and placed in front of a television all day.
For some of these kids, licensed child care settings are the only educational experiences and regular nutritious meals that these kids receive on a regular basis.
Several of these children come from loving families who just need a helping hand to get ahead. Their parents may be going to college to better their family. Or working 2 jobs and just trying to get ahead.
If this program fails, so will so many parents, children and businesses.

Why is this important?
I am the owner of a State Licensed Group Daycare Home. My daycare is located in a rural area. I employ 3 workers. And over half my enrollment is from children on the CCAP program.
