Only massive numbers of users quitting Facebook will convince Mark Zuckerberg to reverse FB's policy of accepting lie and propaganda-filled political ads under the rubric of "free speech." The policy is a clear and present threat to U.S. Democracy. Please—let Mr. Zuckerberg know you will close your account unless FB immediately commits to fact checking every political ad received.
Why is this important?
U.S. democracy is under assault by the self-serving and dangerously distorted "free speech" policies of social media, Facebook in particular. If Zuckerberg is not stopped, specifically by a mass exodus of users of his platform, all future elections could be tainted and their results will be in doubt.
