On Wednesday, July 25, 2018, Chicago's Ward 33 Democrats (and others) will hold a candidate forum at Horner Park, 2741 W. Montrose. Almost all candidates for Mayor of Chicago in 2019 have committed to attending. Mayor Rahm Emanuel should make himself available to the people of Chicago.
Why is this important?
Candidate forums are an important part of making democracy work. Mayor of Chicago is an important elected office. In 2015, candidate forums managed by corporate media outlets, like Chicago Tonight, were biased in favor of Rahm Emanuel. Mayor Emanuel should justify his past record to the people & explain his vision for the future.
