The current state minimum wage of $7.25 is inadequate . People's lives, if they have such a job are in economic turmoil, woefully inadequate.
Please raise the minimum wage, based in the 1950's to a cost of living level comensurate with 2014.
Why is this important?
Working class people , if not unemployed ,cannot sustain our lives in the current economic climate. Raising the minimum wage is a good start.
