We demand a living minimum wage of $12.00 hourly for all workers regardless of occupation, gender, age, ethnicity, race or education. This includes full time and part time workers as well as independent contractors. For workers who rely on tips for the majority of their income (such as waiters and waitresses), raise their minimum hourly rate to $7.00 hourly.
Why is this important?
"We the People" demand a $12.00 per hour minimum wage. We refuse to work for wages that keep us well below the poverty line. A viable living wage is a fundamental human right, not a luxury!
