Why is this important?
I had to work at a minimum wage job after returning from Viet Nam, while I was still in the Army in Texas in order to pay for off post housing for my wife and I. It sucks when the country you fought for treated you like dirt.
Most of the Republicans now in congress have never known hardship of military life.
So raise the Minimum Wage already
