So many hard working Americans live in poverty and have to receive subsides from programs provided by the government, all because employers don't want to pay a living wage and benefits! We are in actuality, subsidizing too many large corporate businesses that pay unlivable wages!
With poverty levels on the rise, let's make the commitment to increase wages to a livable standard and keep up with inflation. We all know how incredibly important is to earn a wage we can live on! We can make sustainable livelihoods a reality!
We can't take a step forward in battling poverty unless we make this wage increase a PRIORITY!
