Why is this important?
I'm a musician, and I've made a penny per stream from my YouTube video.
Video and audio streaming companies make the lion's share of the streaming profit while the artists get practically nothing. Artists should get at least 20 cents a stream clear. Musicians work for years to master their performances; we deserve to be paid fairly for our efforts.
