The Minimum Wage is more than just a number .. It is a state of mind! When you work all week and go home with so little after working so hard, you feel defeated .. raise the minimum wage and you will have a state full of folks that have a higher self worth .. a happier quality of life ... everyone benefits ... Viriginia is a beautiful state .. why not fill it with beautifully happy people?
Why is this important?
I believe that we have focused for far too long on "absolutes" with respect to how we enact policy and politics ... and in doing so we have removed the human element .. let's return to a day when doing the right thing IS the right thing .. RAISING THE MINIMUM WAGE is the right thing to do
