The ERA is "the only clear cut way to eliminate all legal gender based discrimination". Women and men are persons of equal stature.
Why is this important?
Yes. I have been discriminated against and told that I could not hold a higher position if I got pregnant. Passage of this amendment would make it illegal to discriminate due to pregnancy - per the constitution.
