WE need health care. Nurse Maude Callen dedicated her life to caring for the people and restoring their health. WE want a "functional" legacy, a "living memorial" to honor her contributions to the residents of Berkeley County. Vote RE-OPEN Maude.
Why is this important?
The County Council is hearing discussions (Agenda Item 3131) about the future use of the property of the Maude Callen Health Center. There are two (2) options being proposed: 1) Establish a Museum; and 2) RE-Open Maude (the Maude Callen Health Center). The next County Council meeting, the Community Services Committee, is Monday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. Let your voices be heard.
