Re-open Nesbitt Shoals Nature Park
I am starting a petition to gain signatures showing public support to the idea of re-opening the park. We hope by gaining enough signatures we can show the members of the Tyger River Foundation that there is strong support from the community to re-open this park to people and families that will enjoy the park as well as respect it. The park has never been in the condition that we saw last year, it was an embarrassment and a disgrace to allow such a beautiful place to be destroyed the way it was. By signing this petition the signee not only supports that the park be open but that the property be respected and maintained so that it may be enjoyed for years to come. Hopefully by seeing the signatures and the support it will lead to a decision to re-open the park in the future
Why is this important?
This is an important location for our community as a whole. It is a wonderful place to take the family during the summer. If offers a break from the hustle and bustle of the world around. It is a place for a person to come find their inner peace and reflect. It is a wonderful place to bring your pets to cool off in the heat of summer. The location has so much potential as a place of peace, fun, and good times for our community. For years the property was maintained relatively well, but this past year it was completely trashed and destroyed leading to the owners closing it down. We are hoping with your signature we can gain enough public support from our community to show they members of the Tyger River Foundation that the park is valued by us and should be reopened.
