Re-test drivers over age 75

Demand that drivers over the age of 75 be tested so that it can be determined if they still possess the skills needed to safely drive on our roads. They should be tested for vision, hearing and response time. Please, making this test a requirement could save someone you love.

Why is this important?

In November, 2009, my mother was killed as she crossed the street. The man who killed her was 82 years old and he was not arrested and his license was not revoked. This tragedy might have been avoided if this man had been tested to see if he was still able to drive and had full hearing, sight and the ability to turn his head to see, but since no law existed that would require this, no such test was performed.
