An amendment by Arizona Republican Jeff Flake would end the grant program that currently supports Ready to Learn, high-quality, educational public TV for kids, including Sesame Street, Sid the Science Kid, Curious George, and more. Ready To Learn is scientifically proven to help kids, especially low-income kids.

It helps young children learn how to read, develop math and phonics skills, and get ready for school.
