If the petty squabbles in Congress force us over the Fiscal Cliff, then they will have failed in their responsibility, and the members of both houses should be subjected to a recall.
Why is this important?
The US House of Representatives and the US Senate exist to serve the people of the United States. If our legislative branch allows our country to fall over the Fiscal Cliff, for any reason, then they have failed in their duty, and should be held accountable for that failure.
