Recapture all unused Visa Numbers to allow families to bring their loved ones to this country. The current Immigration system is broke and separating families for years. A US Citizen has the right to reunite this family, the wait from the Department of State is insane. Recapturing these Visa Numbers will allow to speed up the process. For the Last 5 Months the processing priority dates didn't move at all. This is very frustrating and hope lawmakers can work something out.
Why is this important?
A bill to recapture all unused/wasted Green Cards. Department of State is currently having ridiculous wait for those families (US Citizens or Residents) who made petition to reunite families legally to this country. Unfortunately, Republican and Democratic lawmakers are opposed to do anything about it. Most cases the Wait in between 5-12 years. The current legal Immigration system does not work.
