We, the petitioners, request that Sandy Adams, Allen West, and Joe Lieberman assemble and organize a group of non-political professionals to evaluate the risk of violence in our schools, work with domestic and international partners who have solved similar problems, and come up with a REAL solution. This will anchor the team with a military man, a career law enforcement officer, and a Senator who has earned the respect of politicians of all political persuasions.
Why is this important?
Political "solutions" to gun violence and school shootings have not been solutions at all. Our students, teachers, and school staff are more vulnerable now than ever. We need professionals from the military and law enforcement to devise solutions.
