Recycling Takes Recycling Bins!!
In Colorado, we pride ourselves on being leaders in the Environmental Movement. How is it then, that right in the heart of the State, the city of Denver, does not enforce recycling, or even provide it in some places? If we want to build a sustainable World for future generations, it is time that we start acting! Having to drive recyclables a mile away to the nearest recycle center not only adds to our carbon footprint, but it is unacceptable knowing that most people wouldn't go that extra mile- literally. We need to have recycle bins at every apartment complex in the State. What are we saying about our values and our so called "green movement" if we don't?
Why is this important?
Tired of taking your recyclables a mile away just to recycle them? Communities and Apartment complexes should provide recycling facilities on property if they provide Trash pick up. It shouldn't cost any more to recycle and it is important to do! Some cities charge for not recycling, this needs to be the norm everywhere!
